As part of the First Light Festival, my work will be exhibited alongside other artists with our own interpretation of the set theme:
"First Light’s 2024 Noon to Moon project – Weather Vane responds to the festival theme of Cardinal Points... Weather Vane brings together artists from Lowestoft and the wider region using a variety of practices and materials to create an inventive outdoor exhibition of works in Kensington Gardens and the East Point Pavilion."
Northwest Endeavour: Mixed media.
In 1845 two ships, HMS Erebus and HMS Terror set sail from England on a mission to discover and map the Northwest Passage, the fabled East/West trading route through the Arctic ice fields from the Atlantic to the Pacific. The doomed ships became locked in the ice and all crew members perished.
