About Gemma

Gemma Christie’s creative works are inspired by nature and her surroundings. Exploring the richness of colours, textures and tones using a variety of medium. Originally from the Richmond area, she studied painting, printmaking and 16mm film at Canterbury. While she had a long and successful career in Television graphics she found time to exhibit her oil paintings, prints and undertook commissions. She now freelances in digital media utilizing her multiple creative skills.  Gemma has recently moved to Suffolk where she has taken to using watercolour and enjoys the complexities and challenges of this medium. 

In January 2019, she launched https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/InkiArtUK selling prints of her art work.
